Maryknoll Alumnae Association of California

Sister Joan will be visiting us early February and the Maryknoll Alumnae Association has planned a potluck lunch for her at Magdalen Yum’s house in Menlo Park on February 11, 2007 from 11:30am to 3:30pm. The address is 1335 Garden Lane, Menlo Park CA 94025. Telephone: 1-650-289-9217.

Sister Joan Delaney was an enthusiastic and brilliant teacher for many years at Maryknoll Convent School in Kowloon, Hong Kong. She also taught at the matriculation class and was acting principal at one time.

She is now involved with the Maryknoll Chicago Center for Global Ministries which prepares for ministry in a global content. She travels extensively.

Last year, she was treated for breast cancer in New York and is doing fine now. She plans to retire at the end of this year and is very much looking forward to joining us at our Worldwide Reunion cruise.

Come and join us with Sister Joan Delaney on a pre-cruise gathering, lots to talk about and share and it will be lots of fun, guaranteed!!!
